Cleaning is unavoidable, whether you have a house or an apartment -- you need to keep it tidy and neat. There does need to be two approaches to cleaning. You will first need to do a deep clean and then carry out regular smaller clean ups to keep the home looking spotless.

The deep clean may consist of:

  • Clean rugs and carpet
You can always hire a professional to do this.

  • Clean all drape
Again many sanitation companies offer regular specials on this service.

  • Clean walls, tiles and baseboard

  • Clean and polish
    Any wooden or vinyl flooring

  • Scrub kitchen cabinets
    Both inside and outside

Each and every room should sparkle at the end of this. You may still have clutter lying around so be sure and move it to its proper place or to storage.

Don't forget the outside of the home. Lawns need to be manicured and hedges and bushes trimmed. The drive way needs so to be free from weeds, as do any flowerbeds. The garage or outside shed should be cleared of any clutter and thoroughly cleaned. If someone is interested in buying your home they will look in the garage and sheds also.
