New home warranty

Reputable property developers generally back up their work with a warranty for at least one year from door to door on virtually everything in the home. Part of this warranty is covered by the manufacturers of the new homes appliances and mechanical systems. The developer may extend the warranty for specific major components such as roof, floors and fireplace from five to ten years. It is absolutely vital to understand what service the developer will provide to you once you have bought the home. Beware if a developer refuses to warrant anything
