Gas Lines
Gas lines need to be properly installed monitored and maintained, as natural gas is the most potentially dangerous item in your home. Gas can cause instant flash fires and devastating explosions that can result from negligence and carelessness.

To ensure the gas line shut off wrench is easily accessible in a gas emergency, attach it to the main line at the shut off valve with a piece of chain and a hose clamp.

Be sure to inspect all gas lines in your home. Those connected to appliances, furnaces and water heaters should be corrugated stainless steel or new epoxy coated flexible connectors with shut off valves where they meet the solid gas delivery lines.
