Fire extinguishers
Most fires start small, and having a working extinguisher readily at hand can prevent a fire from getting bigger if one starts.

The kitchen, basement and garage should have their own extinguishers.

Always purchase fire extinguishers with pressure gauges. Check the pressure gauge at least once a month to ensure it’s ready at all times.
