Tony Danza home in Malibu sold

November 9, 2011 - Tony Danza has sold his long time home in Malibu for $9.1 million - much higher than when he originally purchased it for $1.15 million in 1987. He won’t get to keep all of the profit, part of it will be going to his soon-to-be-ex wife. Danza, famous for his acting career, starred in the television hits Taxi and Who’s the Boss and has lived in the home for nearly 25 years.

Though the split is reported to be amicable, moving out of this house won’t be easy. The oceanfront home has access to 50 feet of Malibu’s famous beach for a backyard. The main house on the property has three bedrooms and three bathrooms - including a master suite that takes up the entire second floor. The suite includes a sitting area with a white-brick fireplace and tall wooden doors that open up to a private outdoor terrace. French doors in family room open up to a large deck that reaches to each side of the house and also has a built-in lounge.

There are also two separate guest homes on the property - each complete with one multi-purpose room and a private bathroom - the extra space could be used as a bedroom, gym or office. All together, the property has 3,000 square feet of living space.
