November 4, 2011 - The LA Times reported that Michael Balzary, better known as the bassist Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, sold his Malibu home for $3.15 million after being on the market since June.Good news keeps coming as the Red Hot Chili Peppers recently announced they will be touring in the UK in the summer of 2012.Flea purchased the original home in 2003 for $2.55 million, but it was burned in the 2007 Malibu fires that also threatened other stars including Suzanne Somers and Mel Gibson. Malibu has a large number of celeb residence and also has a reputation of dangerous and expensive fires.LA Times says the home, designed by Marmol Radziner, has over 3,000 square feet of living space and the lot is over 2.4 acres.The contemporary home has two floors with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms. Inside the home has multiple fireplaces.The new design is very modern with concrete floors and high-vaulted ceilings - making this home an architectural dream. The home is positioned high in the hilltops offering a panoramic view of the ocean and canyon through big open windows.The buyer’s name has not been released but whoever is moving in will inherit tons of celeb neighbors.
