Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy moving out of Brentwood home
January 10, 2012 - The Los Angeles Times reports that former model Nicole Murphy and football commentator Michael Strahan have listed their home in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood. The couple reportedly purchased the home for $5 million in 2009 and it is currently listed at $6.95 million.
Murphy was previously married to another celebrity, comedian Eddie Murphy, but later divorced in 2006 and became engaged to Strahan in 2009. Strahan had a long career in the NFL, playing for the New York Giants until his retirement in 2008 after the team won the Superbowl. He has now developed a career as a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday.
According to the source, the home has 9,200 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Other features of the home include two dens, a theater room, a wine cellar, a wet bar and an elevator. The master suite boasts its own bonuses including a fireplace, double bathrooms and closets, as well as a balcony. Outdoor amenities include a deck that overlooks a swimming pool and spa.
It has not been reported where the couple will be relocating, but sources say they are moving because they don't use the home very much.
