January 13, 2012 - Former MLB pitcher John Smoltz is selling his home in Milton, Georgia, according to the real estate website Curbed.com. The home is currently listed for $7.2 million and ready for a big family to move in.Smoltz is best known as the allstar pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, who he played for for over 20 seasons. He was awarded the National League Cy Young Award in 1996 and in 2010 he began his career as a sportscaster.According to the listing, the estate sits on 22 acres of land which includes both tennis and basketball courts and separate baseball and football fields. He is also rumored to hang out with Tiger Woods, as the two can play on the property's 18-hole golf course. There is also a stable for horses as well as an over-sized pool and spa.The home was built in 2002 and has 18,265 square feet of living space including 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Other extravagant features of the home include a wet bar, hardwood floors and six fireplaces.It has not been reported where the Hall of Famer will be relocating to, but sources say he will likely stay in the Atlanta area.
