Established in 1936, the American Moving and Storage Association is a non profit trade association based out of Washington D.C. With more than 3,500 professional mover members, AMSA is dedicated to making your move successful every step of the way. Southfield, Michigan

History:
The first settlers in the area now known as Southfield arrived in 1817 from established settlements in Michigan, Vermont and New York. A settlement was formed in 1823, a township was formally established in 1830 and Southfield was officially incorporated as a city in 1958.

Southfield has some 780 acres of parkland, noted for their nature trails. The city has an abundance of restaurants featuring the cuisine of many nationalities. The Star Southfield Entertainment Center has cinemas and restaurants; the Millennium Center stages ballet, Broadway shows and musicals; the Civic Center Park and the Southfield Sports Arena have sporting facilities (including golf and ice skating) while great shopping area are Greenfield and the Northland Mall.
