Worst Moving Experience Ever
Movers were to arrive between 8 and 10 am; arrived at 6:30 pm with another load on the truck. Worked until 10:30 pm and couldn't finish.They returned the next morning at 7 am; arrived at 1 pm with yet another load on the truck. Finished about 4 pm and then gave us the news that we underestimated and owed additional $1,900. They were extremely rude during the whole process. Estimator asked for a listing of the large items to be in shipment and estimated number of boxes. This was provided and totaled 52 items. Of course, that did not count all the little things because that is not what was asked for by the estimator. Once our goods were hostage, how could we do anything but agree to pay the additional monies. I asked to take possession of the goods which were in a storage container and was told I could not without paying $115/hr for the time the movers worked. Goods picked up on 10 Sep; did not leave West Coast until 23 Sep. Was not told company had 21 business days to deliver until I called about why they had not arrived in Texas. One sofa and my queen-size mattress/box springs are missing. New washer and dryer were dented. Several small pieces of furniture broken and not usable. I will never use this
relocation company ever again and have report ready to send to BBB and JPPSSO so that no one has to go through this.
