Move to Tallahassee
High marks for the workers' courtesy, but disappointed with the handling of my items.
I was originally told by the movers that if I pay an additional fee, my mattress and boxspring would each be placed in protective boxes to ensure no damage would occur to these items. I subsequently agreed to pay for the added protection for these items.
Unfortunately, my mattress had several smudge/dirt spots on it upon arrival to my new location and the boxspring had holes in the bottom as though someone's fingers went through it.
Also, an art easel was broken by the movers as well as several boxes being smashed as though there was no consideration for the items contained within the boxes. I have tried to reach the manager of Regions Van Lines several times via email and via phone. To date I am still waiting on a response.
