Bravo is an Atlanta-based company. I wish I had fully realized that before I signed up to move from Philadelphia to New Hampshire. They didn't have many trucks going up to Boston, so they were desperate to change my moving date to coordinate with another truck already going up there.
The guy kept calling me persistently over the phone to ask if they could come pick up my stuff earlier than my scheduled date of pickup. I finally agreed to push up my date but insisted that I would not be ready for delivery until a few days after that. The guy that I dealt with on the phone said that was absolutely fine, but starting the morning after pickup, he kept calling and calling asking me if they could drop off my stuff that night, the next morning, etc...even though I wasn't even there yet and we had discussed the drop-off date at length.
He was completely blind to what I kept telling him about not being able to come up any earlier despite having had the same conversation about 10 times before about my drop-off date. Then when the movers arrived to drop off my stuff, they gave me attitude about having to wait an extra day for me to get there ... even though it was the day previously agreed upon and set in advance!
Then when I gave a tip ($40 for pickup and $40 for delivery = $80 to the same guys), he had the gall to ask me for more tip. Also, after I left, I realized that one of my desks had been broken. In addition, one of my picture frames in a box had been shattered. Not a big deal, but I felt like they treated the boxes labelled "FRAGILE" no differently from others.
In the end, I got my stuff delivered, which is what I care about, but this company was the BIGGEST hassle. They also ripped down a cable line from my street with the huge truck they sent (even though I kept insisting that my street is narrow and difficult to maneuver) and denied doing it. (I had to call the cable company later to have them come out and fix it). Also, I think that the customer service representative should have made me aware that the moving dates are flexible based on when trucks are in the area, and she should have told me to be prepared to move up to a week before I actually did.
