Comnmunication Makes Wrong Things Happen
The estimate did not correctly identify the number of boxes needed, nor did the estimator adequately provide details to the actual movers causing there to be untold hours of further moving after paying good money to be moved by the company, nor did the estimator adequately convey to the homeowner that although told to pack boxes independent of the movers there was not the correct conveyance of information to either the homeowner or the actual movers. When good money is paid - good service is expected. My hope is that this company did not sell my moving information to other vendors/services. If word of mouth is the best marketing device - this device has nothing positive to say about this move.

As the estimator, I went through every room with the customer and asked her specifically which items we would be packing and moving. Mrs. George gave me specific items she was going to move on her own. Based on the information I was provided by the customer, I came up with a room by room inventory and box count for her move. I then printed up a hard copy of the inventory for the customer, as well as took all information on her move on a separate "information sheet", asking her specific questions pertaining to her move.
When I arrived to my office, I printed up a copy of her estimate and inventory sheet, and gave them to my dispatcher with the information sheet. When our men arrived to her home to pack, Mrs. George had our men pack more than she had asked me to estimate. Items that she was to move on her own were now part of the items she asked our men to pack.
I arrived at her home on the date of our appointment 15 minutes before our appointment time, and was forced to wait over 40 minutes for the customer to arrive.
Mrs. George has never once contacted our company as far as any damaged items on the move; if there had been any contact we would have quickly and accurately resolved any claim.
I have to say I'm very surprised at a negative review; I have been a sales rep for 10 years and have never had such an issue. I am always praised for my accuracy and the amount of information I provide. Communication is never an issue.
