Very late but got the job done
The movers were supposed to show up between 1 and 3 pm. Because of another move they had scheduled that morning, they didn't arrive until 6 pm. By then, I only had one-hour left to use my loading dock and elevator, so the whole move was very rushed. I definitely think this was the fault of the managing office, not the movers or the driver. They should try to be more accurate in scheduling these moves, instead of wasting their customers' time. And they should also do a better job of contacting their customer if they know the timing will not be as promised. The movers who showed up were very diligent, and very quick, but also unapologetic. They were able to move all of my furniture (1 bedroom apartment) before I had to release the loading dock. The whole move to the new house took about three hours. In all, once the movers showed up, they did a good job with my things, but since the company wasted my entire afternoon, I will look for someone else the next time I need movers.

Response from Starlight Relocation Inc LD
We would like to thank Ms. Hill for her feedback, we are very sorry for the trouble and the delay in our arrival. When scheduling a morning shift we try to start early (6 am, if possible) and finish on time for our second shift. We schedule our jobs for the afternoon based on the estimate the morning shift should take. if However we find out, as we arrive to the customer's house, that the customer had much more than originally stated we end up having to delay our 2nd shift. We are checking to see if we can recapture what was the delay on that day. We do apologize for the delay. We usually try to communicate it to the customer as events take place. This is a rare occasion but things can happen and we are happy that the actual move, once it took place, was well done.
We regret that we will not get to be at the customers' service again.
We wish you much success and best wishes for the New Year.
