Don't use this company
I was receiving certain listed items in Tennessee; they were being shipped from South Texas. After speaking with me, our case manager created a written items list. However, our case manager ultimately didn't communicate with my brother, who was supposed to sign the contract with her and send in a deposit. My brother had some questions and also wanted to give her a final items list. Before he could sign the contract and send in his deposit and establish the final items list, the actual movers were dispatched to South Texas for pick-up. Our case manager had an items list already which she'd e-mailed to me and to my brother. However, she didn't give it to the movers and so when they arrived in South Texas, they had to ask an elderly aunt of mine, which items in the house were to go. My aunt forgot that my mother's hope chest was supposed to come up here, and so she didn't tell the movers to load it. The
movers had no list and no one called my brother or me to verify that the items inventory was complete I don't have my mother's hope chest and never will because I'd have to pay another $1,000.00 to get it. The company was negligent in several ways, and they tell me that they don't rely on their items list, but rather on whoever's present at the pick-up location. to figure out what items ship. What kind of way is that, to run a company? Nationwide tells me that I'm out of luck. Don't use these movers if you want to receive all your items.
