Review of All Points Movers

There were so many hidden and undiscussed costs at the end of the move that I was appalled. I asked about many of them during the estimate at the office but the rep did not mention any of them. She said the supplies were very cheap - they were not. She said there was no minimum time required - there turned out to be (4 hours when I only requested 2). She said there was no charge for fuel or for the driving time between my old and new residence - there most definitely was. The move ended up costing more than double what it should have. The movers were all friendly and there was no damage to my furniture. However, given the extreme expense for moving very few furniture items I will never do it again. Perhaps this is the case for all moving companies, but I did not feel this company was honest up front about all the "little" costs that would be added in the end.
