The estimate I was given and the priced I paid were extremely different no one ever explained to me all the "hidden charges" such as material handling, loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking, oh and lets not forget staircase charges. I never recieved a real contract or even a reciept I just had a handwritten bill from the mover and felt completly and utterly scammed. I could have chosen several ither
movers if I had known what the real price was gonna be. One of the movers asked me if someone had come to my house to give me an estimate, I told him no the only estimate I recieved was online, which they did not explain to me all these charges. Then when I called the the company when I found the price, they were nasty to me and said they explained everything to me when they clearly didn't. Also the movers waited until we were at my new house to tell me the price, which at that time they had they're whole truck full of my furniture which left me no choice but to pay, considering I needed all my stuff. I felt they were scammers, unprofessional, and they also arrived 3 hrs late. And they damaged some of my furniture, I would not recommend this company to anyone and would have pursued legal action against them if I had actually had some kind of paperwork, but they made sure I didn't.
