Horrible
The experience was wonderful until the day of the move. The
movers did not show up during the time that was given nor did they call and state that they would be late. I had to call to find out what was going on. They arrived about five hours late and did not finish the job until after 12 in the morning. I was told from the dispatcher that I would receive $50 off and never did. In addition, on the day of delivery the foreman did not show up or call. Once again I had to call and find out what was going on. Due to "truck" problems he came the next day on time. After speaking with one of the "workers" he was a day laborer and not an employee with the company. My television was damaged and boxes that were labeled fragile were severely damaged. All of the boxes were damaged. It was obvious my things were not handled with care. Three pictures are missing and I have called and spoken with someone about it. She has yet to get back with me! Overall, I was very disappointed in this company.

Response from Orion Moving & Storage LLC
Brandi Green was moved out of Houston, TX on 6/10/10. She is absolutely correct in regards to the delay of the crew's arrival. She did call into the office late that afternoon towards the end of the 2 hour window we had originally advised. It was at that time we told Brandi of the delay with the crew due to another move in her area that was much larger than we had originally anticipated and therefore was taking longer to complete. We advised Brandi that it would be late that night that before the crew would arrive to her residence to begin her move. We gave her the option of waiting until the following morning in hopes of avoiding a ''midnight move'', but Brandi & her boyfriend discussed it and they decided they wanted us to come move them even at that late hour. She mentions that there were some damages to boxes at the time of delivery; in Brandi's case we did little to know packing of her personal effects. Hers was not a full packing move by our crew, and therefore we have no control over the content of the boxes or how well they were packed. That being said, since we didn't pack we cannot be held responsible for any of the contents being broken. Often in this industry when customers pack themselves they don't fill up the boxes in preparation for a long distance move. If the box is not filled up and it's left half or only ¾ full, when the boxes are consolidated onto the truck and stacked, they can get smashed or collapse slightly. In other cases where boxes have been re-used from a previous move, the boxes are not in good enough condition to support the contents or the weight. Unfortunately, this is a very common occurrence. With regards to the pictures Brandi is missing; they were very small pictures in frames, less than 1'x1', more of a display table top size. They never should have been shipped out of her household goods pre-packed boxes. But somehow, since she did not pack them in boxes, they were left loose & placed on the truck. It has been near impossible to track down such small items out of the hundreds we loaded onto the trailer for delivery. We have instructed Brandi to file a claim for the lost items. At this time it will be for the claims company to recommend a settlement amount & we will reimburse Brandi for that amount, possibly more. We will reimburse Brandi accordingly at that time. The missing items will be difficult to place a value on due to the fact that they were more personal in terms of value, rather than monetarily. This is the first we have heard of a TV being damaged as that was not originally reported by Brandi at the time of delivery nor in her original complaint.
