I had wonderful experiences with the
movers contracted to pack and load my furniture - two different pairs of individuals who picked up my belongings at the outset and delivered them to the final destination. However, the movers were contracted professionals unaffiliated with the actual moving company (i.e., I was extremely lucky!) The customer service of Move for Less was relatively non-existent. When I called to inquire regarding the estimated ship date, the representative was defensive, rude, and rather condescending before I could even make it through the question. Furthermore, the estimated quote was nearly $300 less than the actual delivery fee. Although my furniture arrived safely and in original condition, it was thanks to the care of the actual movers. The company itself is a bit shady, and don't expect anything in terms of customer service (although they're incredibly friendly when you call to set up the move!); thus, your experiences are likely to hinge on the quality of the contracted truck drivers.
