Horrible Experience
First off, I originally wanted to move on 4/10/2010 and then changed it to 4/3/2010. I e-mailed the guy to let him know of the change because during the estimate he said "Just e-mail me if it changes and I'll respond." I had already told him that it might change to the 3rd. He never responded and I then called and left him a voicemail. He never called me back. I should have cancelled right then. So after calling several times I finally got him to answer and he confirmed that the date was changed to 4/3/2010 at 9a.m. Come 4/3/2010 at 9a.m., no one shows up. I called and what do you know, they had the date as 4/10/2010. Then all day they kept saying they would move us by mid-morning or early afternoon. My husband even talked to the owner who said "We'll make it up in service." Yeah right, the dispatch lady would never call us back after saying she would shortly all day. We called at least 25 times that day. Finally at 5p.m. my husband had enough and demanded to talk to the owner again and the owner said they would have to move us at 7 a.m. on Easter Sunday. The funny thing about this is the dispatcher tried to tell me the owner doesn't work on the weekends after my husband spoke to him earlier in the day. So come Easter morning at 7a.m. there were no movers. They showed up at 8:45a.m. and it took them almost eight hours to move us out of our 1,200 square-foot apartment. Oh and we got a 10 percent discount, wow they really made it up in service. Pathetic customer service and the worst moving experience I have ever had, on top of which it was my daughter's first Easter. I will never use them again and would advise others not to as well. Also, there were a few scratches on my daughter's crib. I didn't even bother calling them about that though, what's the point? The rate was 75/hour, but we got 10 percent off.
