Out of state relocation
The actual movers were courteous and experienced. Having never used movers before I was surprised that the moving supplies close to $500 even though I packed my own moving boxes. I would have liked to have been provided with a price list well in advance instead of on the day of the job. I was also surprised at the inaccuracy of the estimate even after I provided a list of items that I was packing. Other moving companies provided me with much more realistic quotes based on my list of items. Altogether, from a quote of $750, I expected to pay about $1,200 at the most. I ended up paying $1,900. I will be much more cautious about using movers in the future.

The item list that went on the truck was much more than the one given on the phone. the customer originally said he has 14 boxes. actually had 25 + other items. Customer did not pack TV or mattress and boxspring, plus other items, so was charged for it. we charge HALF of the official DOT tariff. Customer paid for use of elevator and long distance that are written very clearly in our quote. All details are in the quote sent to customer.
