Displeased in money matters, pleased with work
They were prompt, and courteous on the phone. The guys that came to the house worked quickly and carefully, it seems. I don't know the condition of the final shipment because it was a divorce job and I was moving my ex-wife out of the area. The stuff went into storage so we don't know about it yet. What I am mad about is the fact that they quoted $2800 bucks to me on the phone, which is about all I could pay, and the final cost ended up being $11000. They did not say supplies were extra. I think there was also some fraud involved with the weighing, which I'll never be able to prove. All I know is the last time I moved, the shipment of our whole family's stuff was less than 10000 pounds, and I was only moving my wife's stuff out this time and they claim it weighed over 13000 pounds! I was just glad to have her out of my hair so I did not pursue an investigation, but I hope these people in the future are more up front with their estimates and quotes, and stop fraudulent weighing practices.
