I got an estimate of $250 for less than a two-hour move. I had two dressers, a bed, two couches, very few boxes and was moving a half-mile away. After they packed all my stuff and got to new place, they told me it would be $700 because it took them two hours to get to me (person on phone never told me that) they charged me for blankets and tape and for taking stairs.
