Canal Winchester to Columbus
We only had a dinning room set and a couch moved. The movers came a late from another jobsite and were visibly tired. The two leaves of the table were not properly stored in the truck and consequently, one of the leaf was scratched significantly. Mark Thompson was very responsive and currently, the damaged leaf is at the restoring company for repair. It should be noted however, that the matter is not fully resolved and no payment to the restoring company has been made by the the Mythompson Moving company. I was not advised of the availability of the moving insurance, otherwise I might have considered it because it was a $10,000 dinning room set.

Response from Thompson Moving & Storage
We were informed that a table leaf was damaged on the move a number of days after the move occurred. The damage was a mystery to us as this table leaf was enclosed in a bag when we picked it up, was never removed from the bag by us, yet we were accussed of the damage inside the bag. We agreed to fix the table leaf out of good will, but as far as we can determine, we did not cause the problem. As far as payment for the repair is concerned, we have not received a bill, thus no payment yet.
