First Move
I was scheduled to move from Washington, DC to Morgantown, West Virginia in September, 2009 because of a new job. I was very anxious anticipating this move. I contacted several potential moving companies, but settled on Starlight because they provided one of the lesser quotes.
The day of the move, the movers did a great job of moving and loading my furniture, even though there was not much to move. They were very friendly and professional. Arriving in Morgantown, WV; however, it was raining and the movers got lost. I had to go and find them, with a great effort. They were very understanding and competently unloaded my belongings.
The final bill was $986.00, which included a 15% fuel surcharge. This was a bit more than the estimate, and I was somewhat annoyed that the movers had gotten lost. But, in the end, they did help me move and nothing was damaged.
