The foreman spent the first thirty minutes arguing with me, telling me he was not going to move my belongings unless I bought bubblewrap, boxes, and tape. During that time no moving was done. Once at the new location, it took all four movers 35 minutes to figure out how to get a couch thorugh a doorway. It took 5.5 hours to move 11 pieces of furniture with NO boxes or any other items.
There was no way it should have taken that long or cost that much when I moved all the boxes, clothing, pictures, and loose items myself. I thought I would be saving money that way, but it did not. However, when they did move the items they were pretty fast and worked hard. The estimator was very nice.
