I chose this company, which was more expensive than some others because the sales person assured me that it would take approximately 5 days to get my furniture to Nashville. He more specifically gave me a range of 3-7 days.
However, the company decided they couldn't pick up my furniture on the designated day so we had to move it up a day, and then they ended up taking 12 days. I started a new job in the meantime and told them I would not be available on the day they were supposed to arrive (since I was expecting them a full week earlier).
The contact person at the office said no problem and that the guy driving the truck was aware. However, he then gave me a hard time and said that it wasn't possible to come after work. This company cost me an extra few hundred dollars by having to stay in an hotel.
