Noah's Ark
We moved from CT to MD. The estimate and sales consultant charged us for the travel costs back from MD to their homes in NY. We specifically discussed this, and they estimated 11 hours of labor time and 6 hours of travel. This was explained to be 11 hours of labor time (split between the actual time moving in and out in CT and MD, for example, 4 hours in CT and 7 hours in MD, since there were two flights of stairs, including time to wrap, unwrap and place/assemble furniture) and the 6 hours of travel time was to come down from CT to MD.
However, they charged us for an additional 6 hours for them to go back to NY, and held our belongings until we paid.
Furthermore, they were 1.5 hours late and left an hour earlier than our contracted and PAID time. They also refused to put furniture together, despite their contractual obligation. They have not been returning phone calls or emails.
