Moving experience
The movers were over an hour late picking up my belongings. They tried to add on over $100 in extra fees. They weren't even going to give me an itemized list of what they had put on the truck!! When it came time to deliver they wanted to delivered on the 10th business day after pickup, when I would be out of town.
Because I wasn't going to be home then, they said it would come on the next truck, which came two weeks later. The movers would only accept cash or money order, when the contract clearly stated check or credit card as well. I had to go to an ATM at 6:00 on saturday evening to take out $320 in cash.
Finally after they had finished unloading I saw that they broke a leg off of one of my dressers and damaged another leg. I will be filing a claim today.
