A 2 B Moving - a little dissapointed
The movers broke my daughters headboard. The foreman initially tried to say that the piece was loose, but there is no way that was possible. The foreman then tried to tell me how to fix the headboard.
Also, he wasn't very forthcoming on a lot of the charges that were incurred. I had to ask for a receipt and when he provided me one it showed $152 in charges for materials, and I had no idea what that included. When I called to submit a claim for the damage, the woman who answered the phone (Tara) was helpful at first but then called me back to tell me that she spoke to the foreman and wanted to get some questions cleared up.
I called her back and she didn't answer, so I left a message and that was 3 days ago. I haven't heard from her since. I'm a little frustrated because my property was damaged and they are not owning up to the problem. Instead, I feel like they are trying to place the responsibility on me.

Response from A-2-B Moving & Storage Inc
I did speak with Danielle many days ago, and we agreed upon a settlement for the damaged headboard. I mailed her a check the same day.
We took responsibility for the damage and went above and beyond the standard insurance of .60 cents per pound, per item. Danielle signed the insurance form before the relocation began agreeing to this also.
I did not hear she had a problem with the materials bill until now and would have been more than happy to discuss this with her and come to an agreement to make her happy.
We strive to make all customers happy and I thought she was happy after talking to her and settling on a claim amount.
