Take care
The staff in Las Vegas was courteous and seemed to be knowledgeable. However, the personnel who unloaded my belongings were very discourteous. In fact, they made snide remarks about my stuff being too heavy, asking me if I brought gold with me since my stuff was 'overweight' and told me that in the future I should be 'more considerate'.
I was not told by anyone from the moving company at any point in time that there was any kind of weight limit for individual boxes. Also, I had been told that the first flight of stairs at the time of unloading was free but there after it was $75 for each floor. My new apt is on the 3rd floor and I had informed the people in Las Vegas the same at the time of loading. My understanding from that discussion was that I would have to pay an extra $75 fro the extra floor. However, at the time of unloading they asked for $150 because my cubic footage was over 500. This was the first mention of double charges according to cubic footage.
I also heard them drop a number of my boxes, and for any pieces of furniture that were obviously damaged, their attitude was 'Well, you can just glue this on'. Overall, I did not feel that the movers made full disclosure at the time of my reservation and the people who unloaded the truck were very discourteous and did not handle my belongings with care.
