moving
I didn't make any claims. They were minor. I was disappointed in the fact that they forgot my microwave. They didn't take at least 4 carloads of stuff.
I had to go to the new apartment because of my cat and when I came back, a mover said they were done. I went to look and there were boxes all over the place and a lot of other loose things. A mover came up and got the boxes, but as I said they forgot they microwave. I asked if they would take those things and he gave me a "You want me to take those?" look. I said no I'll take them.
I should have insisted, but his attitude was not one I wanted to deal with. Also, I had asked the company to send boxes and wanted them to pack the last of my dishes. I was given the boxes and told here are the boxes for you to finish packing stuff. I said, could you pack it? (The boxes were very deep and I'm short.) One of the movers began to pack and the supervisor came up and said, "You're packing the boxes?")
I paid almost 500 dollars to move around the corner, and the least he could have done was take all of my stuff, and not complain.
Other than those few comments, it was a very hot day and they had to go up several flights of stairs, so I know that it was a hard move. I appreciate all that they did move.
