Nationwide = Frustration

The movers themselves were excellent, but the administration was nothing but a headache. My "senior moving consultant" very friendly and helpful right up until I signed the paperwork and made the deposit. Then he became MIA. Not only would the man not return my calls when his promises fell through, he denied having received any messages from me at all to his boss.

I had researched this company before I signed with them, had a few misgivings, but I was assured that my move would go as smoothly as possible. I had to be out of my apartment on the first of the month. I stressed this repeatedly and was assured that the first would be the absolutely LATEST that my belongings would be picked up.

The movers finally showed up a day late. Now I'm out another month's rent, and where is my moving rep? Screening his calls apparently. Half of my belongings were not on the mover's list (they were listed on MY copy of the house inventory ... just not his). And then to top it all off, I come out 1600 pounds overweight. One would think a "senior moving consultant" would be a little more accurate.

He had assured me that he overweighed everything on our list and that the most we could be over would be a couple hundred pounds. I would have been fine had it been overweight by said couple hundred, even five or six hundred, but $1,600?

We also used Nationwide to move our vehicles. The auto transport division is separate from household. Mr Kenneth Fortunato handled this auto move for me and did an EXCELLENT job. He was very outgoing, went the extra mile to ensure I was happy, and always returned any and all messages. I highly recommend this man should you just be looking to move an auto.
