Price for labor was extremely fair for three men. They worked hard and fast. All of my "nice" furniture was padded and packed safely. The only questionable charge I had was how expensive it was for packing materials. This amount was given to me in advance, so it wasn't a surprise, but I was surprised at the cost of it. Bubble wrap was $15 per item wrapped, plus the cost of tape ($3 per roll). The
movers agreed to charge a flat $50 for unlimited packing materials needed (bubble wrap, packing tape, furniture pads, etc.) which I believe is somewhat reasonable considering they used over 10 rolls of tape.
