Not Again

The woman who scheduled my move was misleading. I had made a reservation with another company when i found about their "hidden charges" and ended up calling USA Relocation whose ad says "no hidden charges." I explained what I had to move and specifically mentioned a china cabinet and the lady said it would be taken care of without any extra charges. First thing the mover said when he walked in is "this is going to cost $75 to move." I ended up calling the lady, speaking with her supervisor, and then her manager and they refused to not charge me the $$ to move it. I stated it was their misrepresentation but they didn't seem to care. In the end, I ended up paying for it because I needed to make the move. The actual movers were great but I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone simply because of the lack of customer service and basic rudeness of the staff. They have no idea what customer service is.

Just one issue, I was told that movers would call with a 30 minute lead time but I requested an hour. Never got a call at all. Otherwise, all went well. Very courteous and fair.
