Horrible
When making the original reservation with the moving company I disclosed full information to include a two location with stair pickup with a final third location. The quote from the moving company was three men, one truck, insured, and $75 per hour.
The movers were almost three hours late with no phone call. They refused from the inception to approximate a cost. I kept asking them all day for an approximate because banks were closed later in the day. They refused to quote. When finally they had loaded the truck from both locations they disclosed...cash only and astronomical fees that were not listed in the signed agreement.
A $250 stair fee, a $250 second location fee, $4-a-blanket fee the list goes on. They said the amount was $1379 cash only. It was 6:30 at night. They then told me pay cash or they were driving away with my stuff. I ended up calling the police who advised the driver that it was illegal to take my stuff. The policeman encouraged us to come up with an amount that we could both agree upon. It was a $1000.
