Good Service a Day Late
Sunstate movers were a pleasure to work with when it came time to generate a quote, however despite providing a list of exactly what would be going into the truck, the square footage estimate was about half again smaller than it should have been, which ended up making the extra goods cost almost as much to move as the initial estimate. I received a call two days before the move from the dispatcher saying that unless I would be available at or around midnight on the day of my scheduled move, they would not be able to make it on time. The following day, they were an hour late again, and had not adequately passed on the instructions of who to be in touch with as they made the move. Once they did arrive, they got everything on the truck quickly, carefully and professionally. They were very careful with all of my things, wrapping and disassembling when necessary. They arrived five days later, and were again quick, professional and careful as they unloaded and disassembled my things. Save for a couple of poorly packed plates on my end, nothing was damaged. In order to compensate me for the initial lateness, the movers were able to discount the additional cubic footage by about 40 percent.
