Unprofessional
In the beginning, the company appeared to be very professional. I called a week before the scheduled pick-up date, a Tuesday, and the time was set between 9 a.m. -noon and was told I would be called 24 hours before to get a specific time. Since I drove across country before my furniture, my parents took off work that Tuesday to be there. I was called on Sunday and asked if they could come Monday morning instead. Since my parents had already been approved for time off on Tuesday I told this was not possible. The
moving company was very irritated that I wouldn't change my pick up date and said they would call me back. After they didn't call me back that day I called the next day. Then, they said they would come Tuesday evening. Tuesday morning they called and said they couldn't make it until Wednesday morning. So, my mom had to take another day off and drove an hour to be there between 9-noon Wed morning. Around one they still weren't there with no phone call so I called them and they had broke down the day before and said they wouldn't make it until Thursday. I told them that it wasn't an option and they had to find a way there. They kept pushing the time back and finally arrived at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday evening and finished at 2 a.m. My furniture was delivered the following Tuesday morning. My bed, coffee table and end table had big scratches/dents where the tape was so tight that it dug through the blanket. We tried to call the main company several times with messages, instead of the drivers of the trucks, to make a complaint and no one would ever return our call. They charged us $200 for packing up the large furniture which was described as being part of the service. Overall, they were very unprofessional and I would never recommend anyone to use them.
