My Move
The movers were ok, the cost far outweighed the estimate and if I knew it was going to cost that much I would have never hired this company. I chose to add a third guy who really didn't move anything at all. He just waited in the back of the truck and pushed things back, which I don't feel I should have to pay for. The men also took lunch, which I obviously paid for that time. One of the movers put a sweating soda cup on top of my antique cedar chest causing a ring in the wood. I was also told to sign the paperwork when they initially showed up at my house and paid for 20 minutes extra. I even paid for packing material, which the men took with them when they left and I watched them put the padded blankets right back on the pile of unused ones and tie them together to use again which was pretty shady. If I paid for those materials they should have been either thrown away with the other trash the men left in my garbage can or left with me not taken away to be used again to charge someone else a couple hundred dollars after I already paid for them. The actual movers were nice and courteous but the practices of the company are pretty shady. I think and I would not hire this company again nor recommend them to anyone else.

We regret this customer was not completely satisfied with their move. There has been no contact from this customer to our Customer Service Department to allow us to explain anything or offer any restitution. There are a few errors in her assesment of our services. Since this was an hourly contract, the third man on the truck saved this customer a lot of time by receiving the items from the ground team and packing the truck. This eliminated the time the other team members would have used getting up and down from the truck. Also, the packing blankets that are reused from move to move are offerred free with our service. The customer was never charged for their use. The packing materials she was charged for were unique to her items and covered in advance on her contract before she ever booked her move. Her items were left packed in these materials when the team completed her move. The team has to take breaks and take time to eat, if they are going to be effective on the job. However, this customer is mistaken that she was charged for this time. The same applies to the time going over paperwork. Customers are not charged for this time. We would have been happy to handle this customer's claim regarding the ring on her chest through our impartial third party claims company, if she had simply contacted us about it.
