Poor communication

Move was booked based on 5000 pounds. After plopping down deposit, was sent email with estimate of 6500 pounds. Movers said five days transit. Movers delivered 11 days after pickup. I was told when move was booked that driver would provide weight ticket of truck before pickup and after pickup. Driver said they had no intentions of doing that. Again, when move was delivered (in a different truck with different crew), there was no weight ticket. Crew didn't even know how to compute volume of load. I called company and was hung up on when I stated that they had not proved to me that the fees were accurate. It's a shame that the people doing the move (pickup and delivery) were good people. It's the staff in the office that are deceitful and either completely ignorant of how the movers work (doubtful), or they are experts at misleading people into paying more than they are supposed to. You have been warned. I have no sympathy on you if you use them and have issues.

Johnny the lead mover was very professional..a little late in pickup and delivery...but otherwise he handled the move very well. Joanna at the home office was excellent.
