Local Jersey City Move
I was charged for several items that I was told were included in the quote. I was told padding and tape were included, but they charged me $4 per blanket and $36 for tape. They also tried to charge me an additional $150 due to the fact that I was on the 3rd floor. I was very clear about this during the quote, and they said they would not empty the truck until I paid.

Progressive Movers had the customer sign a contract where there was a note of a stair charge, so she acknowledged this charge and agreed in our understanding to proceed with the move. All items need to be wrapped properly so that we do not have damaged items and so that belongings are handled with care.
Prior to the move the customer was given a sheet with items that may need to be used to complete the move properly in case anything is not properly wrapped and the customer signed this paper seeing the prices and viewed the workers using these items. We handled the customer's items with care and had no intention of not disclosing this information.
