Don't get Scammed by ORI Van Lines
After loading my items into their truck, they informed me that the price would be triple what the estimate was. The driver was insulting and demanding. My credit card was declined due to the unexpected cost that I was asked to pay. The driver ripped up my credit card slip and threw it into the air in front of me. The driver told me to call someone, anyone to get the money "right now." He did not explain to me that there were options for pricing such as Cubic Feet (which is what he gave me) or the weight of my items, which they would have had to go to a weigh station and I could have seen exactly how much it weighed. I had a few items they needed to pack and the driver gave me a verbal estimate of $75 to do it, so I told him to go ahead, when he showed me the receipt he had charged me $1,670. I would never ever use this company again, nor would I tell my worst enemy to use this
moving company. I have attempted to work this dispute out with them, but they refuse to deal with me.
