Broken Belongings

Not only did the movers show up late (scheduled to arrive at 2p.m. and they showed up after 6p.m.) but they were small guys who could barely lift one box at a time. They couldn't put more then two boxes on the dolly because they couldn't tilt it backwards and pull it. The told me it would take four, maybe five hours when in reality to took them well over six hours. They dropped my file cabinet while carrying it to the truck (on a dolly) and it shattered spilling all my personal documents all over. Some of which I still can't find. Then they managed to break four or five more pieces of large furniture. One was an heirloom from my great-grandmother that can not be replaced. They broke my sons bed and dresser, my jewelry cabinet and a stool. They were horrible movers and scratched more items then they broke. I have never experienced a move this bad and I've moved around a lot. I was extremely disappointed. I had to send in photos of the broken items so that their claims department can "send me what they think its worth." I have not received any compensation as of yet.
