Bad Move
The movers were due to pick up my things on Oct 1 in Nashville. They were 2 days late, and ended up loading it on the 3. After trying for several days to contact the company and get some answers (they switched drivers on me without my knowledge so I had no direct communication with the truck), I was told in the space of 3 hours by 2 different company employees that my things were in Connecticut, no wait, now they are in Georgia.
On Tuesday, I spoke to the dispatcher who assured me my things could be in Chicago by Friday. I then went to quite a bit of trouble to arrange that day off as I travel constantly for work. I spoke to him Wednesday, when he informed my my move would now cost 1900, over twice the original estimate of 800, and I needed to wire them the money right away. I assured him I would and spoke to him Thurs as I was going to do so.
He said we were still good for Friday and would call later that day to confirm the time. As I'm writing this, it's Sunday. He never called or took my calls to let me know Friday was off, and when I cornered him today, he was unapologetic and vague about when my things might arrive.
Bottom line, it's Oct 11 and I don't know where my things are or when they will arrive. I would not recommend this company.
