Bad Communication

There was horrible communication and customer service throughout the entire process. The driver packed things with additional materials without my knowledge and charged over $200 in addition to the moving cost. When asked why they didn't ask if the additional materials should be used (or if I had any of the materials myself), the flat answer was that it was to the driver's discretion.

During the period of pickup to dropoff, there was absolutely no communication. I had to call numerous times to get through and learn the status of my move. Twice I was promised early delivery dates that I scheduled work around and both times they were missed. Again, I was never even called to tell me of the change in schedule. I had to call myself which is when I was then informed of the delay.

Lastly, when the additional charges were applied to my bill, I was never informed. Instead, the driver showed up and said I still owed an additional $400 on top of the estimate. They expected me to pay with a money order or cash on the spot. Who has $400 laying around? They knew of the extra charges for over a week leading up to delivery but did not even consider telling me.

When I brought these concerns up to their customer service representatives, they were rude and could care less. Finally, when they showed up they charged an extra $700 to use a shuttle because they couldn't get their enormous 18 wheeler close enough. Again, they never gave me the heads up that this could be the case.
