Lots of prices creep in

The movers were very courteous. However, the original estimate ballooned, largely due to the cost of packing--$300 for just 6 items (we had them move large items like a washer and dryer). Packing was done quickly and efficiently, but there was still some damage done to my wife's piano. Please be aware--they will charge you double time for driving, which seems counterintuitive (they charged me $66 for the 40 minute drive, but they were still on the clock for the quoted hundred dollars and hour moving charge). Also, make sure that the maximum --not minimum--travel time to and from your origination point is agreed prior to start.
