Ok Experience
There was a travel charge that no one ever told me about until the
movers got to my house that morning and it was $186. The movers were nice and fairly efficient, but occasionally I got the feeling that they weren't moving as quickly as they should've been (one guy was on the phone for 20 minutes) and we ended up going 30 minutes over the estimatd time, which cost another $62. I had told the people on the phone before that I had a big TV and they said that was no problem but when the movers showed up, they had no clue what kind of furniture I had and said they would not put the TV in their truck so I had to put it in my mother's mini-van. The guy on the phone told me they would take care of it and they didn't but since everything got to my new place ok and without breaking, I guess they were sufficient. I don't know if I would hire them again though.

Thank you for your review. This move estimate was based solely on the customer’s verbal information. The items had been placed by another party into a 20-foot storage container, which made it difficult to complete a thorough survey of household goods to be moved. We would have gladly moved the plasma/lcd TV if it had been packaged properly for transit by the shipper or asked to have it carrier packed. The estimate is based on hourly rate and is adjusted based on actual time used.
