Don't Use
I would not recommend this
moving company. I contacted Neighoring Movers and requested the total charges if the workers completed the move within 4 hours. I was told it would only be $66.50 per hour with one hour of travel time -- this was a 10% discount. However, once it was time to pay, they added 18% gas charges. I did not pay for the charges, because specifically requested the total amount. If I had not insisted that the charges for gasoline not be included, the move have cost me $450.00. The workers neglected to have me sign the documents prior to the packing, therefore I did not pay for the gasoline charges. The same person who quoted me was the same one who did not want to deduct the gasoline charges. Please be careful and ask for hidden charges when you searching for any moving company.

Response from Neighbors Moving & Storage - FL
The 18% fuel surcharge is a standard charge that is assessed to each move - which covers the cost of operating the truck to and from the jobsite. I see that Ms. Forbes was not assessed this charge. She was only charged for the actual time spent performing her moving services. Please understand that we try to cover everything when quoting the customer, and we also have them sign an estimate prior to commencing any job which either reiterates the amount quoted or contains a new amount if the scope of work has changed. I would urge Ms. Forbes to contact the Customer Service Deptartment if she would like to further discuss her moving experience, and I would be happy to review with her.
