Quick Move
Atom Moving was a life saver during a difficult time. I was moving from New Hampshire to Maryland and could not find a moving company who would even consider helping me (I had about a studio apartment's worth of items and therefore it was a small job). Atom Moving was the first company to call me, they were able to move me a week sooner than I expected and picked up my items the very next day. Even better, they delivered everything within 48 hours to my Maryland address. Since I was still living in New Hampshire, I needed as much advanced so that I could drive to Maryland. I was notified 48 hours before my delivery to confirm, which was great. They were also on time when it came to delivering my items, another huge plus in my book. Now let me get to the not so great part of my moving experience. They were more than 90 minutes late to pick up my things. I am understanding, they did come all the way from Boston, so that wasn't a huge issue. They sent two people, one of which was new and didn't know how to wrap TVs and other items. This slowed them down, adding to what was already a very long day. I didn't feel as if my belongings were treated well once they went to storage (mind you, it was only 24 hour storage). There was also damage to my belongings -- my drying rack came up missing and I was offered no explanation, nor did I receive a phone call back when I reported the problem (not a HUGE deal, but it's still $20 to replace it). There was also numerous boxes that were broke, and they paid no attention to boxes marked "fragile" and things were stacked on top of each other. I ended up with broken dishes, something that has never happened to me before. They also totally broke my stainless steel trash can. Of course, I couldn't tell until after I unwrapped it, and the movers had already left.
I would recommend using this company.The staff was friendly and easy to work with, just make sure to tell them to be gentle.
