Bravo Moving Company
I kept a flow chart of information from the several movers that I spoke with and from whom I received bids. BRAVO movers did not honor their commitments.
Pads were included in the estimate and yet I was charged $111 for what I guess was the tape to hold the pads onto the furniture, I signed up for a three-day spread for when I would move and then again for when my shipment would be delivered. This was not honored. I was given a written notice of how much they would increase my bill based on the $111 for tape, but then there was a $400 charge for six additional boxes. Then on the day of delivery I was told to add another $100 to that increase. Once the movers arrived, I gave them the certified checks for all of the additions and the truck driver told me that I had to give him $60 cash because the elevator "was too slow." (The elevator was normal and in great working condition, the truck moved right up to the loading dock, my apartment was about 10 feet from the elevator.) I did not give him the $60 and he threatened to leave with my stuff. I told him I would call the police. He then threatened to leave my stuff in the hall. I threatened to call the and all of a sudden; all of my stuff was delivered into my apartment.
